I am a Computer Science graduate from the Lassonde School of Engineering at York University (BSc). I was born in Cairo, Egypt, and I left to go to Canada while I was in elementary school. I stayed in Canada until middle school, where I went back to Egypt and stayed until the end of high school. Afterwards, I left to go back to Canada to study Computer Science at York University at the age of 18 and graduated at the age of 22.Personal Life ♫

My professional work experience includes several data-related software programming projects as well as using industry leading BI tools to manage, analyze, and visualize data, draw conclusions, and apply data-driven decision making. Developed 11 data dashboards using SQL, Google Data Studio, and the Google Cloud Platform for business operations and pharmaceutical clients. The data dashboards were utilized for conducting evaluations, identifying engagement issues, and finding areas that can be improved.

Programming tasks in this role:
Built a notification system for involved personnel using the Laravel framework and SQL that would be applied after certain conditions were met. The involved personnel would be provided a form to fill out, and then the system would store the data from the form to be later reviewed for relevant insights.
Built a system that gathers data from provided JSON files stored in an SFTP server, parses the files into a relevant structure, and stores them in Firebase and the Google Cloud Storage using the Laravel framework, SQL, and the Google Cloud Platform.

Performed data wrangling, exploratory data analysis, model development, including simple and multiple linear regression models, and model evaluation and refinement, including polynomial transformations and evaluation of R-squared values, to analyze and predict housing prices using attributes including square footage, number of bedrooms, and other attributes included in an imported dataset for house sales in King County, USA between May 2014, and May 2015. Utilizes the Pandas, NumPy, sci-kit-learn, Matplotlib and seaborn Python libraries, as well as Jupyter Notebook.
